Steve Alexander is the current President and Director of Football for the Swift Creek Athletic Association. Steve joined Swift Creek as an 11U Assistant Coach in 2017, served as the 9U Head Coach from 2018-2020, and was the 11U Head Coach this past Fall. Steve and his wife, Sarah, live in Midlothian. They have three children, Brady, a football player for Midlothian High, Eli, a current Swift Creek Cougar football player, and Amelia Jane, a budding lacrosse player.
Steve graduated from Poquoson High School in 1991, where he lettered in football, baseball, and track. After High School, Steve attended the United States Air Force Academy, graduating in 1995. While in the Air Force, Steve was an Instructor Pilot in the F-16C and served in various operations throughout the globe. In 2004, Steve joined the Virginia Air National Guard where he instructed in both the F-16C and the F-22A and served as a squadron commander and deputy group commander. Steve retired from the ANG in 2018 and currently flies for Fedex.
